• Available on an as needed basis, at times with limited notice
• Nurtures children ages 3-5 through purposeful programming; creates lesson plans that are intended to achieve program goals and outcomes
• Supervises the children, classroom, and all program activities
• Follows all procedures and standards as established by the law or the Y; makes ADA accommodations
• Where appropriate; maintains the program site, equipment, and required program records
• Creates a positive rapport and shared interest with all youth

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Previous experience in child-care, youth development, recreation, or related field
• Organized and reliable
• CPR, First Aid and AED certification within 30 days of hire
• Previous experience working with diverse populations
